Great post! Found another site which I must admit has come in handy while working remote: TravelMonks

They have a pretty good dynamic map of a lot of places and things, like this one on nightlife or this one on wireless internet places.

Hi Mike - Sounds like you are having one fantastic Olympic experience, as they say. Seeing lots of interesting stuff and meeting lots of people. Hope some of them are hanging around China after the medals are all awarded. We were wondering where you were seeing those events you didn't have tickets to, should have realized it would be a wild place like the Heineken House. So did you get any tickets to other events from Janko? The pictures with your new camera look great, especially Great Wall, Summer Palace, Forbidden City. Looks like you may have lost your Yankees hat though, do you need us to send the new one? We've been losing a lot of sleep here staying up to all hours to watch the medal rounds. We'll try to call you again as soon as the Olympics are over and the phone lines free up. Love you, Mom

Mike--
I enjoy reading your posts. Have you been to many events? It seems like I'm seeing a lot of empty seats in many of the venues--beach volleyball, gynmastics, and handball. Which I find intersting since it seems the tickets are in such high demand.

Travel safely.

Ruth--My Michael is still asking when Asa can come back and visit. If you're ever in OHIO, please give us a call. We'd love to see you again.

Sara--Hi to you, Gerry and Rebecca. Too bad Columbus is not on the way to Emory, we'd love to see you.

Hey Mike - Sounds like you're having a great introduction to Beijing. I am loving your pictures of the sites, can't wait to get there next year and see for ourselves. So did the Noshery serve blintzes and latkas? I noticed the plastic bags on the ground out front however. And I love the "mist" euphemism, maybe we'll try that here at EPA. We'll be looking for you on TV tonight at the opening ceremonies. Love, Mom
